The Westin Pushkar Resorts And Spa – Luxury Nestled In The Lap Of Aravallis

Pushkar is the city of spirituality, a confluence where the desire for travel meets the need to catch a break from the regular life. With a distance of six hour away from Delhi, Pushkar is the perfect getaway free from the hustle bustle of nearby tourist locations of Jaipur and Jodhour. Pushkar can be explored as a weekend getaway from Delhi but at the same time it can be added in Rajasthan trip itinerary.

Westin Pushkar

While Pushkar is known as one of the most backpacker friendly destination in Rajasthan, there are several luxury resorts for a more pampered experience to their guests.

The Westin group has been one of the pioneers when it comes to a luxury vacation experience. Their stylish and extravagant properties in in Gurgaon and Pune already have a huge reputation between those who seek a vacation filled with opulence and grandeur. It is their spa resort at Pushkar which takes their lifestyle experience to several levels higher.

Nestled in the lap of Aravalli Hills, The Westin Pushkar is located in the middle of the Desert region of the town. Away from the hustle bustle of the main temple town, Westin Pushkar presents you with every luxury amenity that one needs for a secluded and royal holiday experience. The premium property has everything from indoor swimming pool to amphitheatre and a spacious wedding venue perfect for the travellers and visitors from every walk of life.

The Westin Pushkar has 98 private villas out of which almost 45 have their own indoor pools. Apart from private pools, the resort also has an all amenity spa and a community pool with a Moroccan style dome in the centre.

I was highly fascinated by the fact that every food prepared in The Westin Pushkar is sourced from their kitchen garden. Their concept of Superfood consists of mini healthy snacks perfect to reenergize you in the middle of the day. Perfect after you return home from a tiring day of exploring the Pushkar town or going for the camel ride in the middle of the desert.

The Westin Pushkar Resort and Spa has four dining spaces, The Splash Bar is located next to the pool area and is perfect to enjoy a light snack or a juice after a swimming session. Panorama is a lovely outdoor seating space with delicious pizza and snacks prepared by the master chefs. A perfect place to spend your evenings as the sun goes down behind the Aravallis. Seasonal Tastes and Mix are their casual dining and bar space. At Mix, you can also go behind the bar and prepare your own DIY cocktails during the regular mixology sessions.

The food at Seasonal Tastes is heavenly. During my stay of 3 days, we got a chance to savour on a variety of food. From Laal Maans to Malpua Rabri, they have everything on the menu. They have a special assortment of desserts, continental and Indian. Westin’s kitchen team has a detailed analysis of Rajasthani traditional food and spices. They make sure that their food preparation showcases this influence in every bite that the visitor takes.

The Westin Pushkar is the perfect spot for those who wish for a rejuvenating vacation experience. This was one of my many visits to Pushkar but the experience was very unique. You cannot ask for more after the perfect holiday spent in the Pushkar’s tranquillity.

wow, The Westin Pushkar looks like a great resort. We loved our time in Rajasthan but mainly stayed in homestays or hostels. But I would love to return and relax at the spa or in one of the rooms here at The Westin Pushkar

  2. I’m definitely more of a luxury hotel girl than a backpacker so this place looks like somewhere I’d love. The moroccan style is cool and it’s so cool that they grow all the food in the kitchen garden!

Staying at a resort or in a homestay gives a completely different travelling experience. In general I prefer homestays over resorts since they give the possibility of being closer to the local culture and community, But this time, I have to admit, the Westin Pushkar Resort sounds appealing to me !
