Must Eat List – When in Patna

It’s been almost a year since I started coming to Patna on a regular basis and around 6 months since I shifted here. The best part of living here is the food and I am not talking about Dominos and KFC that are opening and overshadowing the traditional food chain in this city. So here is my list of stuff you must try when you are in Patna.
Litti Chokha – Maurya Lok, S.P Verma and Dak Bunglow Road, also Boring road.
Desi (Bihari) Style Chinese Food – Maurya Lok.
Paneer Samosa and Kachori – Lucknow Sweet House Dak Bunglow Chauraha.
Fokcha – Maurya Lok, Opp Gyan Ganga, Boring road etc.
Samosa – Patna city (Tandon ji ka samosa), Near Radio Station, New Market, Upadhyay Ji Malahi Pakdi.
Chandrakala – New Market
Khaja – Patna City.
Sattu – Biscoman Bhavan
Maner ka laddoo – Maner Sweet, Maurya Lok.
Puri Jalebi – Pal Sweets, Near Station. 
Tea – Hathua market patna , ding-dong ki chai
Hing Kachori – Shalimar Sweets, Sindhi Chat and Sweets Patna Station
Cutlet (Veg and Non- Veg) – Boring Road Chauraha.
Paneer Pakoda – Radio Station
Tandoori – Tandoor Hut
Kachori Sabzi – Early Morning near Station and Boring Road, SP Verma Road.
Tikki Chat – Exhibition Road.
Egg Toast – Gandhi Maidan, Near Regent.
Dosa – Bansi Vihar Fraser Road, Vasant Vihar Maurya Lok.
Litti Chicken – Ashok Nagar Tempo Stand.
Kala Jamun – Bakaganj, Gopal ka kalajamun
Naivadyam – Patna Hanuman mandir ( I know its holy but damn delicious)
Chicken Stick Chilli – Ming’s Chimney Boring Road
Khurchan – Patna City, Prabhat Ji.
Chicken Lolypop – Well food, Nirwana
Chocolate Pastry – Sweet hut boring road
Papri Chat – Ashok Rajpath, Bangali dada
Shwarma – Kent’s Gandhi Maidan near Reserve Bank.
 
Rasmalai – Cozy Sweets, Sweetzee
Milk shake – Gokul Gandhi Maidan
Biryani ( Chicken and mutton) – Biryani Mahal, Tandoor Hut
Bhel Puri – Near Panch Mandir Kankarbagh.
Kababs – Biryani Mahal, Tandoor Hut, Kabab Express
Lassi – Sarvottam Hotel Patna Station, Patna City Maroofganj and Ashok Rajpath opposite Patna University campus, Lovely Mahendru

Mutton Rice – Nalanda Hotel opposite Hira Palace Daak Bunglow
